Aedan Wins Scottish SportsAid Award

Shooter Aedan Evans won the SportsAid Scotland Junior Sportsperson of the Year, the first person from his sport to win the award.Evans, recently named in Scotland’s Gold Coast team for the Commonwealth Games, had an outstanding year and equalled the world senior record in the air pistol at the English Open.Paraswimmer Toni Shaw, 14, won the Miquel Trophy after a memorable year which saw her placed in the top ten in the world in six events in her category. Professor Raymond Miquel, SSAT founder, presented her with the trophy at a ceremony in Edinburgh.We’d like to say a huge congratulations to Aedan on his thoroughly deserved award.
