This will include junior and senior mixed pairs. Having reviewed the mixed trap events over the last 12 months, it is already proving to be a different challenge to the individual event. Therefore it is important that we train and compete appropriately to maximise this opportunity. To support this, we have identified a number of training camps, alongside the mixed pairs trials and recognised competitions for athletes to prepare and give us the best opportunity to compete at the World Championships and secure quota places. Performance Operations Manager, Alex Ballard, said: The Olympic Trap Mixed Pairs events that British Shooting are holding provide an exciting opportunity to bring this event to life in the UK.The first event in March at Fauxdegla is a great opportunity for anyone to come and try pairs shooting and experience the format first hand. The weekend at Nuthampstead in June will see the inaugural English and British OT Mixed Pair Championships which along with being linked to selection, will see some fantastic and exciting mixed pairs competitive action.
